RAJAPRAVARTINI VATI;

Raja Pravartini Vati is an ayurvedic alternative to the least effective allopathic medicines. This ayurvedic medicine is used in the treatment of scanty bleeding and amenorrhea. In case you don’t know, there are two types of Amenorrhea- Primary Amenorrhea and Secondary Amenorrhea. A woman is said to be suffering from primary amenorrhea if she fails to menstruate even after reaching the age of 16. Pubic maturity is complete generally within the age of 14-18, and these days it is said that most of females reach puberty at the age of 13 to 15. During this phase, the menstrual cycle should hit the girl, and if the process is delayed, then we see the cases as incidents of primary amenorrhea. ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Aloe vera - is used for its amazing anti-inflammatory properties that work instantly on the pain and swelling resulting from arthritis. Its juice is extremely effective in calming the swelling and inflammation that are closely associated with arthritis conditions.

Kaseesa (Purified Blue Vitriole) -  is a clinically proven cure for anemia, liver disorders and spleen enlargement. It is an ancient Ayurvedic formulation that has detoxification properties and is rich in natural iron content. The iron cures anemia and weakness.

Tankana (Borax) - is used in the treatment of cough, bronchitis. It is also used in treating food poisoning. It improves digestion power, relieves bloating. It induces menstruation in women suffering with amenorrhea or oligomenorrhea (Scanty menstrual flow)

Ramatha (Asa foetida) -  is traditionally used for the treatment of different diseases, such as whooping cough, asthma, ulcer, epilepsy, stomachache, flatulence, bronchitis, intestinal parasites, antispasmodic, weak digestion and influenza. Asafoetida is an effective remedy for several diseases of the stomach.

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;

Take of Raj Pravartini Vati (125 – 250 mg) 1 – 2 tablets once or twice a day, before or after food or as directed by the Ayurvedic doctor

It is usually given starting from the fourth week of menstrual cycle till the onset of menstruation

The medicine should be stopped soon after the onset of menstruation, or after 2 – 3 days after
